Keep BC from stealing focus on silent script run?

When I run my Beyond Compare script with the "-silent" switch, it works as expected except a new dock icon appears and bounces for a moment before going away on script completion. From the small bit of research I've done, it sounds like the Windows version is completely silent to the point where it doesn't even show anything like this.

Is this a bug or some sort of OSX limitation? It's a bit annoying, as BC steals focus when the script runs and I'll sometimes lose some typing in whatever window I was working in.

    Hello,

Thanks for the report. This is something we may be able to improve; we'll investigate.

      Hello,

Will you be addressing this anytime soon?

Script mode can never be truly silent with this bug!

Especially if such scripts are scheduled cron jobs, it is even more disruptive when bcomp takes focus away from whatever important I was doing at the moment.

        Hello,

We've been looking into solutions for this issue, but it hasn't been an easy fix. It's still on our radar and an open issue.
