Compare Files issue on MAC

Hi guys, i have a problem, when i try to compare files Beyond Compare 4.1.6 just closed automatically without showing a window, but when i use aa compare tool for folders its working correctly

Hello,

We'll need a bit more information on how you are launching BC4 and what types of files you are trying to open. If you launch BC4 with the shortcut/icon, does it launch to the Home screen? Are you then able to load a new, blank Text Compare session using the Home screen buttons or the "New" menu on the left side in the Saved Sessions list?

If you try to load two simple .txt files on your Desktop into the blank Text Compare (drag and drop or the Browse button), are these files able to load from this location?

Which version of OSX are you currently running?
