While viewing a text compare of XML files, is there a way to collapse a node of XML? Various editors will put a +/- in front of the nodes that can be collapsed or expanded. This would be a very helpful feature when comparing large files.
No, this type of collapse is not supported in the Text Compare. It is on our wishlist to enhance our XML comparison. In the meantime, you can use the Display Filters to limit the view to specific lines/criteria.
