Folder compare does not match MS Windows compare

I’m using Beyond Compare to run a comparison between two folder structures. According to the BC results, they match exactly (no results). However, when I look at the properties of each folder in MS Windows File Explorer, they show a difference of 12 folders and 38 files.

How can I use BC to see what these folders/files are so I can ensure they match before deleting one side?

Beyond Compare version: 4.1.5, build 21031
Windows version: Win 10 Pro 64-bit

    Hello,

If you enable the Suppress Filters toolbar toggle, to the additional files show up? You may have a filter in place hiding them. By default, BC4 excludes Protected Operating System files. You can alter this on the Home screen, in the Saved Sessions list, expand the New folder and select the Folder Compare. Go to the Other Filters tab and disable Exclude Protected Operating System files. Now save to update the defaults, which any future sessions will use.

Any previously saved sessions would need to have this option updated manually.
