Leave newer files/folders on right

Hello,

Need to sync a structure from left to right but leave newer files/folders in place on the right (say files + folders created in the last 4 days) and have any other files/folders that don't exist on the left removed from the right.

Hopefully that's clear. Is this possible with Beyond Compare?

Hello,

You could do this in two passes using File Filters: Date of Days ago. Set the filter to show only files Older than 4 Days ago, then Show Right Orphans. This would show only the old orphans you want to delete on the right, then Edit menu -> Select All Files. You could then perform reset the filter to show all files, and then perform a Sync Update, correct?

I'm looking for something similar. I want to synchronize the larger of the two files, rather than the newer.

Syncing the file from Source to Destination if Larger (rather than Newer) is something on our wishlist, but isn't supported in the current release. Similar to your comparison request, it would have to be a manual copy in this case.
