BC3&4: Default copying option is always "section" not "line"

    Hello,

When I used BC2 to compare 2 different C files, the option of copying from one side to another is "copy a line". With this option I can just click the array to copy only one line. This is very convenient for C development.

But now BC3/4 changes the option: he now assumes that I want copy the whole section. This always leads to an unexpected result because more C lines are changed than I want. I don't want to click the array to find that all the section are copied.

Is there a way to remove the "copy section" and let me copy a single line by clicking the array?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

In the Text Compare, you can disable Full Edit mode in the toolbar or use F2 to toggle to a BC2-like selection mode.

You can also click into the gutter area next to the line to select a full line. Or add the Copy Line commands to the toolbar or Edit menu, in the Tools menu -> Options dialog, Toolbars/etc section: select Text Compare, then search for Copy Line.
