Actions->Synchronise Folders->Custom Sync

I'm trying to use the Mirror Left To Right to rebase a non production system. The session is based on a unix server and I'm using the ftp protocol to compare. When I mirror th e folders, the permissions associated with the files are not maintained on the mirror (or the sync to right). Have I missed a switch/option somewhere?

The current version of BC doesn't copy, display, or change FTP permissions.

Support for the CHMOD command to set permissions is on our wish list, and I'll add copying permissions between FTP sites to our feature wish list.

it'd still be nice to have the chmod feature added into BC. we have several licenses and use it all the time but i have to have a seperate program to just chmod stuff. is adding it still a possibility? [email protected]

Thanks for the vote for CHMOD. Support for CHMOD is on our wish list, we just haven't had time to add it to BC yet. It is something that we consider valuable because it is a feature we can use for administering the Scooter Software web site.
