This may seem like a strange request, but here goes . . .
I use an application on my Mac that uploads my document files up to cloud storage, but first does an encryption. The files are encrypted individually. The file names stay the same, but “.scrt” is added to the file name. The folder structure remains identical to the original and the folder names are not changed.
So, as an example, the file names change as follows:
“document.pdf” becomes “document.pdf.scrt”
“picture.jpg” becomes “picture.jpg.scrt”
You get the idea.
I would like to check that all the files/folders that I selected to be encrypted and uploaded to the cloud, are in fact being encrypted and uploaded to the cloud. Is there any way to do a compare with Beyond Compare that will look at both sets of folders but ignore/disregard the additional “.scrt” added to each individual file's name?
