Define Master Side

is there a way to define a "master side" in a folder comparison and make all differences in files on the master side the synchronisation winner?

Hello,

If you perform a Sync Mirror command, this will sync from Source to Destination and copy over any Newer, Older, Different, or Orphan files, while also deleting any Orphans in the destination. This makes the destination identical to the source. Just be careful which direction you apply the sync as there is no Master side; BC can Sync Mirror either Left to Right or Right to Left.

Also, there is no Undo command, so please review the preview information closely and I suggest performing your first couple of syncs on Test folders while learning how the application works.

It may help to use the Session menu -> Session Settings, Specs tab and Disable Editing on your Master side to help prevent accidental edits.
