Compare XML in a "pretty" format

Hi, new to this forum but long time user of BC.
How can I compare 2 xml docs where the XML is compacted into 4k records?
I have been creating and comparing new copies which are "pretty" but thats a bit time consuming.
Wondering if there are some BC options to shortcut this approach?
    Thanks

What do you mean by "compacted into 4k records" and "pretty".

Is the former a 4k record with LOADS of tags on the one line and the latter one tag per line or ..........

      Hello,

Would you be referring to the 4096 characters per line limit? You can increase this value in the Tools menu -> File Format, select your XML tidied format, and in the Conversion tab increase this value.

If this is not your issue, could you post or email a full screen screenshot demonstrating the problem you are running into? If needed, our email is [email protected] and please include a link back to this forum thread for our reference.
