Default Beyond Compare 3 Migration from Dos to Unix

    Hi All,

Recently, I was able to use the beyond compare 3 using the tutorials for the batch scripting. I was able to add a ".txt" file for set of pairs to be compared once I clicked the batch file. Now, what if I want to use this also in Unix? Do you have any useful links wherein I can follow? I really dont know where to start.

    Thanks

    Hello,

The call to Beyond Compare is the same, where you would use:
    bcompare @/home/username/scripts/script.txt

You can test this using the Terminal, and can manually trigger the script.

Implementing this into an automated task would largely depend on your OS and helper programs you would install to perform general automation on Linux.
