Windows 10 Compatibility

Beyond Compare 4.0.7 passed initial compatibility testing with the Windows 10 Insider Preview.

Windows 10 is still evolving, so we'll run through full compatibility testing after Windows 10 is officially released. The estimated release date for Windows 10 is July 29th.

Beyond Compare 4 will likely be fully compatible with Windows 10. If we find any Windows 10 compatibility issues, we'll release a compatible version of Beyond Compare 4.x soon after Windows 10 is officially released. If you have a Beyond Compare 4 license, all 4.x updates are free upgrades and use the same license key.

We've started full quality assurance testing of Beyond Compare with the official release of Windows 10 that came out today. When testing is complete, we'll post an update to this forum thread. We'll also update our Windows Platform Compatibility page.

Windows 10 compatibility testing is complete. Beyond Compare 3.3.13, 4.0, 4.0.7, and 4.1 beta are all verified as compatible with Windows 10.
