BC 2.3 Beta released!

Today we released Beyond Compare version 2.3 Beta.

It contains a new version of the FTP support library, so we want to give people a chance to try it out before a general release.

Was this announced on the mailing list for those who wanted to know about Beta releases? Could have sworn I signed up for alerts on beta releases.

Anyways, the beta works great Tim. Been using it and the improvements are great. Especially with cancelling ftp connections. Haven't run into any problems so far with my regular use of it.

Hi Davio,

Sorry, I am very lax on our email announcements! I usually do a "quiet" release first (available on the website and announced in the forum). Then, after a few days - if nothing new has cropped up - I send out the email announcement.

We've come up with some more fixes and improvements for 2.3, so we'll be releasing another beta today or tommorrow. This time I'll get the announcement out!
