Google Drive Support

Hello there,

now that we have OneDrive as a profile in BC 4 beta, what about the next big three of cloud file hosting, Google Drive?

Having the 3 giants (DB, OD and GD) as profiles would be a huge feature for BC, in my opinion. What do you think?

Thanks for the feedback. It's on our wishlist to add Google Drive support, but it's not a protocol we've been able to tackle yet.

Hi Aaron,

In case you guys didn't know, FPC 3.1.1 (trunk) now has a FCL package to talk to many Google API's - Google Drive included. Take a look at fpc-3.1.1/src/packages/googleapi. I'm not sure if this is going to be available in the upcoming FPC 3.0 release, but often many FCL packages can simply be copied and used in earlier releases as a stand-alone package.
