Keyboard Shortcut for Previous/Next Difference

Why not just change the Keyboard Shortcut to
Next Difference: Ctrl+Down
Previous Difference: Ctrl+Up
Which is very easy to use and also implemented by TortoiseGit

Hello,

Ctrl+Down and Up are bound by default to controlling the scrolling. Our hotkeys can be customized per view, but also by default try to be the same for both Folder and File views.

You can customize these in the Options dialog, Toolbars/etc section, then select Text Compare in the dropdown menu. You can then search this field for Next Difference and Previous Difference and assign Ctrl+Down and Up to either command.
