    Zero File Lengths

When using BC3 to transfer large files to HP UX , we are sometimes getting a 0 length file. Is there a limit on the size of a file that can transferred?

    Hello,

Not one we've implemented. Which protocol are you using to connect to the HP UX? As a drive letter, network share, or FTP? As a drive letter or network location, we use the same basic copy method as Windows Explorer. Do you have a reproducible case (specific file) that you could test with BC3 and Windows Explorer?

Also, to verify after a full refresh, are the files actually 0 size or displayed as size 0 after the transfer?

        Hello,

If there is a connection error, we'll fail to transfer the file. If any of the file had been initiated (0 or a few bytes) those fragments would remain on the server. We do try to 'retry' when encountering this type of error, but if you abort or the retry fails, then the file needs to be replaced.

Does this commonly happen with files of a specific size for your SFTP server? How large are they?
