64-bit version for Windows?

I tried to do a hex compare of a 2GB file and it fails with file too large.

Is there a 64-bit build of Beyond Compare 4 available?

I'm sorry if this is a redundant question; My searches for 64 bit content came up with platform discussions, not build word-length.

Sorry, Beyond Compare 4 is only available as a 32-bit application.

Known size limits for version 4 are listed in the Max File Size, Number of Files, Line Length (V3, V4) article on our website.

For the Hex Compare, 700 MB is the largest file size we've successfully compared in version 3. I haven't tested for an exact size limit in version 4, but it should be similar. Past this size it will fail with a file too large or out of memory error. The only workaround is to split the files up into smaller pieces.

A 64-bit version of Beyond Compare is on our long term wish list, but doesn't have a release date set right now.
