    We consider 8.1 a service pack (and is included unless otherwise noted). We could update the text to "8.1" but don't want to imply that "8" isn't supported, but it probably doesn't deserve two separate entries.

    Do you think the 'service pack' text should be updated to directly reference the type of patch a x.1 represents?

      While 8.1 is similar to 8, it is not a service pack, and so should have a separate entry IMO.

      8.1.1 (or Windows 8.1 Update 1) was a service pack for 8.1, and so doesn't deserve an entry itself.

      I think you would confuse people if you refer to 8.1 as a service pack for 8.
