can't change font

Hi,

i'm using BC4 on xubuntu.
I can set all fonts in the option dialog.
The fonts are previewed correctly in the dialog.
But the fonts don't change in the application.
Can you reproduce this behaviour?

Which version of XUbuntu are you running? And is it 32bit or 64bit?

Hi,

xubuntu 14.04 lts 64bit in VMWare Player on Win7 Ultimate
When started in a command line i saw:
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file
With some googling i could sort it out.
the fix for me was:
ln -s /etc/fonts/.fonts.config /etc/fonts/fonts.config
