Command line control of column widths

    Hi,

I'm using a licensed BC 3.3.5. I wrote a VBA macro that launches BC against two files as part of our daily reporting activities.

Each time, we have to manually click View -> Resize columns to fit, and then manually resize the very wide columns so that all of the columns fit on one screen.

I couldn't find any way to automate the resizing. I see several requests for similar functionality. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hello,

We do not have a method to automatically resize (and then trim down) the columns on load. Would the columns need to be roughly the same size for each subsequent load? We do have a wishlist item to remember column size edits.

I should add that all BC3.x updates are free for 3.x users. You can update to the latest release of BC 3.3.10 using the website or the Help menu -> Check for Updates.

      Aaron,

In this case, the resized columns would have precisely the same size for each run. A "remembered column size edits" feature would resolve this issue.

      Thanks,
      Bill
