    NO_PUBKEY 331D6DDE7F8840CE

W: GPG error: http://www.scootersoftware.com stable Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 331D6DDE7F8840CE

It seems that this key is not published to "keyserver.ubuntu.com" which is probably the most used keyserver, as it is used even by Debian people.

    Hello,

Thanks for the feedback. We do include the key within the package, and we also have it on our website, here: http://www.scootersoftware.com/RPM-G...cootersoftware

We'll look into making it a more explicit link on our website or including it on the ubuntu keyserver.

      Thanks Aaron,

Please do not ignore the deployment method. The fact that you are publishing the key on the website on HTTP and not HTTPS doesn't make it safe at all.

I think it should not take you more than 5 minutes to publish the public key on ubuntu keyservers.

Having it on a keyserver ease the deployment quite a lot, also allowing you to cancel it if ever needed.

And we've already begun submission process to get it on the keyserver. As soon as it's accepted it'll be up there, too.

Is it possible that if you installed BC4 using apt-get, rather than using the .deb, then the key needs to be imported manually?
