File format dialog box - Miss placed buttons

I have noticed that the buttons in the file format dialog are drawn on top of each other.

If you resize the window to make it wider, then the buttons no longer overlap, but at the default window size they do.

    Seen on Ubuntu 13.10

Thanks for the report. We're still working on some of the dialog sizing, and appreciate these specific reports to help track them down.

      OK

I have come across quite a few places where dialogs don't look right. I will post more examples here as I come across them.

I have come across another display bug in image compare. (Under Ubuntu 13.10).

        Steps to reproduce:

        1. Compare two png images using picture compare mode.
        2. Drag the zoom slider to scale the images
        3. Hover the mouse over one of the original images (not the differences image)

The Mouse pointer changes to a black square while it is over the images. It will change back to normal when over other parts of the dialog.

            Browse profile dialog

I have found another one when changing the directory to compare.

            1. The dialog title says "Browse Using Profile". That does not look right.

            2. It does not remember the directory I was in, so I have to browse from the top of the filing system.

Thanks for the report. We're reworking large chunks of our Browse dialog for the next release. This will likely impact this.

Here is another. This time in the dialog box that appears if you try to close without saving changes.

Thanks for that catch. I'll open a tracker entry for this one.

I have found another one, This time on the main tool bar.

Your window dammage model looks to be wrong for the sessions button. If you open another window over the top, and then close it, parts of that window appear arround the sessions button.

                    I am runing xubuntu 14.04 64 bit.

                    Screen shot attached.

Thank you for reporting the problem. Do you see the issue with the sessions button every time you open another window over the top of Beyond Compare on Xubuntu, or only some of the time?

                        Every time.

On any type of compare (text, picture, directory etc)

                          Hello,

We setup a test VM in the office and were unable to repeat this bug. What kind of graphics card are you using, with any specially configured drivers?

That's the same bug I reported here, and which still occurs in the current version 4.0.0.17905:
                            http://www.scootersoftware.com/vbull...ad.php?t=12924

The issue only occurs with the Sessions button. Is there something unique about the way that button is displayed in the tool bar?

Thanks for the link. What kind of graphics card/drivers would you be using? Still running Ubuntu 12.04 with LXDE?
