Issue With Windows Explorer Context Menu Options

I have both BC3 and BC4 installed on Win 7

Every use of a Explorer BC context option fires against BC3

example: select 2 files then option for compare; BC3 executes the command [is opened is not already available]; open BC4 is ignored

    normal, expected behavior?

    Hello,

BC3 and BC4 currently share the same Explorer context menu slot. If you installed BC4 and selected in the installer to use the context menu, then after a restart it should start using BC4's.

If you'd like to use one or the other, you'll need to launch either program, and use the Tools menu -> Options dialog, Start up, and Disable/Enable one or the other, then reboot. After the reboot, the single enabled version should then be used as your shell extension.

      thanks

I now see that the option in BC4 is checked, and the option in BC3 is unchecked

but I have not restarted the PC yet
