wish list: F7 and "Bytes per line" in "Hex Compare"

In "Hex Compare", I would like to be able to specify the number of "Bytes per line", as it was possible in B.C.3: in general, I do believe that You should keep all existing good features. Also, I would like to be able to use F7 to "Align with...".

    Thank You and regards

The View->Layout menu item will allow you to control that. We support wrapping to the window width now too.

Thank You, I have been able to set 16 bytes per line.
How does the "Fit to window" works? I have not been able to see any difference with or without it.

      Thank You again and regards

        Hello,

Are you able to stretch your window wide enough to be twice as wide (32 bytes across)? If you set a lower byte per group count, does this help show the resize? As the window is wide enough to hold a new group it would then allow that new group to appear on the same line.

I had not understood that the "Fit to window" check-box used the "Bytes per group" value.
So, while I say thank You for the help, I do believe that You should update the help, so that I can find information B.C.4, whereas now there is still information about the release 3.

          Thank You again and regards

Updating the Help file is definitely on our ToDo list before releasing 4.0

Thank You again for Your great product and Your great help!
What I meant was that, in my opinion, You might want to update the help system right now, at the same time when You change features, so that while we are beta testing it we do not waste Your time asking for features that simply have been moved somewhere else, for example.

              Regards
