16340 context menu Explorer failure with "The parameter is incorrect"

Here (R: is a SUBST drive):

mousing over Explorer gives this error:

EDIT: Interestingly no fail in this case:

    Copy Filename gives: R:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-776561741-1644491937-839522115-1003\Dr14.txt

We would need more information about "R:\". Or Explorer failure occur on any file you select, including test files on your user's Desktop\?

      No.

Did you reproduce the failure on RECYCLED files?

I have not yet. The Explorer menu shows Restore, Cut, Delete, etc without the error you are hitting.

Could we get the full path that R:\ is bound to using subst? What type of device is it?
