crash, in a crash

I had just hit command-s to save a file i had finished merging over, and up pops this box..



the issue is as soon as i hit save report, the crash report dialog crashes, and is now at a spinning beachball.

i left it for a few minutes and then force closed it.

just leaving the app open, and in idle causes a crash. I'm guessing it hits when auto-refresh triggers.

Hello Drew,

Which compare tabs would you have open when idling, and which would trigger a refresh? Or do you have only 1 tab/window that is a Folder Compare?

How often or how long does it take for you to hit this crash?

I just encountered something like this. I had closed the lid on my Mac and when I opened it back up and clicked on BeyondCompare, a crash report came up. When I clicked on Save Report the crash report immediately disappeared and I did not have an opportunity to choose where to save the crash report.

Thanks for the reports. If you hit errors like this often enough to predict, would it be possible to get a screenshot of the error before you attempt to Save Report (and have it disappear)?
