See the image, the "." after "locator" in each line is missing.

Which version of OSX are you currently running?

Testing on my own test machine with this text shows the "." character. Could we get a pair of sample files that reproduces the issue on your system, and your BCsupport.zip from the Beyond Compare menu -> Support dialog? Please email us these files at [email protected] with a link to this forum thread for our reference.

Looks like this isn't happening any more with the latest version. If I see it happen again I will grab that information.
