How can I use 4 space characters for an indent?

Beyond Compare let us edit directly. That's good!

But my company asks us using 4 space characters as an indent.
Is there any way to achieve it?

Hello,

You can set the spaces for a Tab in the Tools menu -> File Formats, select your specific format (each, including the Text Format at the very bottom of the screen), and in the Misc tab you can set Tab Stop.
