Files flagged as orphan but they do exist in both locations

I am doing a folder compare of local folders vs networked folders. The folder structure below the selected folder in each case is the same. The same files exist under both folder trees but are being flagged as orphans. The files have the same file name, size, CRC, modified date/time, owner and group. Their attributes may or may not be the same. See attached image. Any thoughts on why this might be happening or things to check? Thanks.

    Hello,

File name controls if two files at the same level (subfolder) should align. While names may appear to be the same, if you use the Rename command, and copy/paste the name into a text file, then compare two text files (one of the left name, one of the right), is a difference revealed in the Text Compare? Is there a whitespace difference (enable Visible Whitespace)?

If you are still having any trouble, please generate two snapshots of the directories in this screenshot using the Tools menu -> Save Snapshot, then email us:
    1) The pair of Left.bcss and right.bcss
    2) The BCSupport.zip from the Beyond Compare menu -> Support dialog; Export
    3) A link back to this forum thread for our reference

      Hi Aaron,

You are right. On closer inspection the right view had a whitespace in front of the filename. Sorry I should have picked that up. Thanks for your help.
