    Is there any way to display differences in BC3 like they were displayed in BC2?

    Hi!

    Is it possible to show the differences between two files in BC3 like they were displayed in BC2?

    In BC2 you could see differing lines from both files side by side while with BC3 the differing lines are on separates lines


    ie

    in BC2

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA | AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
    BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB | DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
    CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC | CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

    in BC3

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA | AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
    ///////////////////////// | DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

    Is there any way to display the differences like they were displayed in BC2?

      To control alignment behavior in the Text Compare or Text Merge, select "Session > Session Settings". Go to the "Alignment tab".

      To align lines of text in order instead of trying to align based on content match, change the "Skew tolerance" value from 2000 to 1 and click OK.
