    Next Difference in Field in Data Compare

    We use Data Compare to compare excel spreadsheets and csvs with hundreds of thousands of records. When we are alerted that a record is different, it is extremely time consuming to find out which record it is. Is there a way to use "Find Next Difference" to find the next difference in the field (vertically) instead of just the next record that is different?

    That is a feature that would save us countless hours.

      Hello,

      The Data Compare does not have a Next Difference command within the row. You could use the View menu -> Columns dialog to hide all equal columns.

      The Text Compare does have the Next Difference command, but it would not sort/align by a Key.
