Cannot get a patch in folder compare mode

Sorry if this is a wrong forum.

With the latest Linux version, I try to get unified diff of two folders - but it looks like this option is available only for single files???
"Folder compare report" will not create an unified diff.
When I select multiple files, "File compare report" command disappears.

Isn't there a way to create a diff or patch file of two folders?

    Hello,

If you select a single pair of text files in the Folder Compare, does the Actions menu -> File Compare Report disappear?

If you select two pairs of text files, does it disappear?

If any non-text files are selected, it would be removed, but should be available if multiple text files are selected. You can use the Edit menu -> Expand All, Edit menu -> Select All Files to select just files. However, if an archive (.zip) is selected, this would also disable the File Compare Report menu option.

Are you using the latest release of BC3 (3.3.8)?

When all files on either side are selected, the patch option shows up in File compare report (right click menu) and this lets to create a patch from the whole folder comparison.

      Thank you Aaron.
