  • How to ignore any line which starts with a char "!"

    Hi,
I am using the latest BC 4 on Windows 10. I am doing three way compare. What should be the line in the script or command line option which will ignore any compare for a line which starts with a character (say ! - the exclamation char). Thank you

The three way text merge cannot be scripted.

To ignore lines starting with ! in the Text Merge:
Click the Rules toolbar button (referee icon).
    Go to the Importance tab.
In the Unimportant Text section, click +.
    Text to find: ^!.*
    Check Regular expression.
Click OK until you're back to the main window.
Turn on View > Ignore Unimportant Differences.

The above instructions are also valid for the 2-way Text Compare.
