  • creating custom variable inside a bc script?

    Can I create a custom variable inside a BC script?
    Ideally, I'd like to do something like this:

    OutFileName=%1\Reports\%2.Diff.html

    and then use that in the output-to in a diff report statement
    Trying to do the above in the output-to doesn't result in the entire variable set to be there. Seems to only get to the %1 and none of the rest is used.

    Hello,

    Could you post your current script syntax? There is no method to create a variable in script, but the text after the = (using both %1 and %2) should work to help construct the path. Does the path have any whitespace? If so, you should surround the entire path with quotes:
    output-to:"%1\Reports\%2.Diff.html"
