how to exclude OSX created ._ files

Using OS X 10.15.5. When I copy files to a new drive, it generates a "._FileName" file for each file. I simply wish to "exclude" these files as I exclude "._.DS_Store" files (i.e., Exclude all "._." files - which doesn't work).

    Hello,

Your second method is close, though the syntax requires the * for mask the rest of the file name. So assuming are you in the Session Settings, Name Filters tab, it would be, under Exclude Files:
    ._.*

to exclude any file name (*) that begins with ._. characters. This will translate into the main toolbar's filter toolbar as -._.*
