No network and USB drives on BC 4.1.9

I have just installed BC 4.1.9 on mac Siera. I can not access my network drives and USB drives. what do i need to do to get this working properly.

Hello,

Next to the Browse button, there is a dropdown to switch from Browse Using Profiles to Browse Using System. Using the System dialog should reveal these targets; they aren't supported in our internal Profile dialog.

Alternatively, you can type directly into the file paths with the same syntax Finder's Go menu -> Connect to Server uses, which should also work (ie. smb://servername/folder)
