  • Context menu for Nemo

I successfully enabled the BC content menu items in Nemo 4.0.6 (File manager for Cinnamon desktop) on Pop_OS 19.10 (Ubuntu-based) with this command:
    Code:
    sudo cp -a /usr/lib/beyondcompare/ext/bcompare-ext-nemo.amd64.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/nemo/extensions-3.0/bcompare-ext-nemo.so
    That's missing from these articles:
    http://www.scootersoftware.com/suppo...nuxcontextmenu
    http://www.scootersoftware.com/suppo...contextmenuadv

I figured it out based on the instructions for Nautilus, and observing that there was a separate extension for Nemo in /usr/lib/beyondcompare/ext/.

Thanks. Because of the always updating and changing behavior of Linux, the context menu can break between OS updates. This is why we have the KB articles for common manual tips, and a link to the GitHub project to help us update the script.
