  • Can I default to "Browse File System" for Folder Open?

When in the Folder View if I click on the Open Folder icon it defaults to "Browse Using Profile" which always starts out at the home directory.

For the longest time I just lived with that, not realizing that there was also a "Browse File System" option on the icon which behaves the way I'd like (start at the currently open folder, also providing a control that lets me paste the path as text). Is there a way I can make "Browse File System" the action that occurs when I simply click on the icon without zeroing in on the drop-down arrow widget?

    I'm running 4.2.8 build 23479 on Linux Mint 18.2 x64 (based on Ubuntu 16.04 I think).

The Browse File System and Browse Using Profile selections on the right side of the Browse button are sticky. If you select Browse File System from the dropdown and load a folder, the Browse button will use that dialog until you switch to the other dialog type using the dropdown.
