    Apologies for the riddle!

    A: When one is counted by the grammar item and the other by the display cursor position... and there a tab.

    Should grammar item Columns perhaps say Characters?

    Hello,

    Similar to your other report, your settings would be useful here, as this isn't the full picture. The Col grammar does use the the column position, but your Tab character (which only shows as one character in Hex) is defined in the Text Format - Everything Else format dialog's Misc tab, which you didn't include in your screenshots. Or you could be hitting a bug. But we'd need your file pair and BCSupport.zip to recreate the screenshot to know what you might be running into.

    As a guess, if your current Tab 5 or less, that'd explain the screenshots.
