Can BC compare PST and OST files?

I love Beyond Compare. I have been using it for many years and it is, well, beyond compare.

I am in the process of upgrading my computer and migrating from Office 2007 to Office 365. I have both PST and OST files on both the old and new computer. Is there any chance that the latest version of BC is able to compare PST and OST files like it does folders and let me choose which entries (contacts, emails, tasks, calendar events, etc.) to move from one to the other?

If not, can anyone recommend a tool that can do this?

Hello,

No, BC4 does not support navigating into PST or OST files. The entire file can be compared as a binary file (to see if it is altered), but not review the internal information.

I don't have any specific programs to recommend, but if any support treating these files as extracted text files, BC4 could incorporate that as part of a BC4 File Format.
