  • Comparing a read only volume with writable volume leads to an endless popup message

    Hello :-)

    I have the following problem:

I have created an image with dd under linux and this image is mounted with OSFMount under windows because of performance reasons:

Now i wanna sync the image to a new volume which is writable but for each compare I did i got the following message:

Der Datenträger ist schreibgeschützt und kann nicht beschrieben werden. Entfernen sie den Schreibschutz vom Datenträger F: <name> in Laufwerk F

The funny thing is my windows is German, my BC4 (latest) is English and the message is in German.

Ok, but the source is read only and i dont wanna change this, i hv also tried general options -> confirmations, but no change, Any idea?

Can you copy files from the mounted image using Windows Explorer to your C: drive, or does that also fail with an error message?
