but with the content of the file copied by mspaint.exe and pasted into BC, the image is messed up:



and with the content of the file copied by JASC Paint Shop Pro V6.0 and pasted into BC, the image is even more messed up:

Hello,

Testing with Windows Preview and Chrome, the clipboard does not have issues during an import. I do see a similar issue when testing with MS Paint. This may be related to how MS Paint (and other) applications can switch formats when using the clipboard, and isn't something we'll be able to address without overhauling some of the underlying Picture Compare APIs (Delphi or OS provided). It's something we can keep an eye on if/when we make a larger change to the session type, but unlikely we'll be able to patch in a workaround for this clipboard handling. Please save a version of the file, then open the file to bypass using the clipboard to workaround.

One of our developers is looking into it a bit, and it may not be as large a change. However, there are several other large projects currently already scheduled, so it'll still won't be something we'll be able to tackle soon.
