Not showing read only differences in Folder Merge

I am trying to compare two folders. I have checked Session Settings -> Comparison -> Compare file attributes: -> Read-only. The folders have identical content except that one of the files is read only in one folder and read/write in the other. Beyond Compare 4 build 23088 shows that there a now differences. But I want to see these types of differences. Is there anything else I need to set?

    Hello,

With the Read Only compare option enabled, files with an (r) (read only) attribute will appear as a difference (red). Folder coloring inherits the coloring of files within it, so the parent folders should also show as red. You can use the Display Filters to limit the view to only Show Differences to narrow the display. Is this the behavior you are seeing? Or does this not meet your needs?

Thank you for the help. The problem turned out to be that if "Override quick test results" is checked, then having "Read-only" checked doesn't matter.
