I'm a bit confused ... I'm running multiple laptops (on a clients property) and some have BC 3 and some have BC 4.
BC 3 seems to show .MDB access database are the same (even when they are different) -- both files have the same size/timestamp and are greyed out even though as far as I can tell the contents are different. So I am not given the heads up they need to be synched and they don't end up getting synched (even with mirror left to right).
In contrast, I think BC 4 is finding differences in the files (though I am still confirming this). A few laptops did manage to update/show differences correctly.
I can't tell if I have a setting in BC 3 that is not enabled or if the 2 programs are fundamentally different and BC 4 is simply better at this. I've tried this with unlocked MDB databases as well as locked and that doesn't seem to be the issue.
