  • Trying to properly configure a proxy through a linux box.

I am trying to replicate in a BC session a proxy configuration I used in WinSCP.

in WinSCP to reach my endpoint of interest, I set up the connection-> tunnel page with an intermediate system to work through and checked the connect through SSH Thunnel. passed the Userid and PW in the config and set port number to 22.
The target system I specified protocol of SCP and port22

I tried to set a profile for the same endpoint in BC but without success, tried a couple of options but looking for pointers.... Assume some combo on proxy page would work?

I found a post in another thread from DEinspanjer that provided a way to configure things with a OpenSSH (in my case used PLINK) as the means to tunnel through the jumphost. +1 the idea of making this a builtin part of a future BC release.

Thanks. I'll add these notes and details in the other thread to our entry on the subject.
