  • Would like to compare a mapped network drive to OneDrive for Business-post-migration

Complete newbie here. Is there a way to compare a legacy mapped drive (e.g. M:\) to a OneDrive for Business folder structure. We're planning on a migration project and would like assurance all content was copied correctly? I was able to compare the former to the local "sync client" contents, but would like to be able to compare what landed in the cloud. I have set a OneDrive profile, but am unsure what do with it from there. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, Microsoft "OneDrive" and "OneDrive for Business" are separate products with different protocols, despite their similar names. BC4's OneDrive profile only supports the personal "OneDrive" connection.

Is the mapped Network drive pointing back to the original OneDrive for Business server? Or is this a different location? It is possible to connect and map OneDrive for Business as a network drive, and may be possible to connect as WebDAV (which, we do have a profile for):
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2616712
Then you can compare M:\ to the mapped network drive or WebDAV profile of OneDrive for Business.
