BC4 SIZE ALIGNMENT Is it possible to Align Files based on Size (Ignoring FileName)?

BC4 or BC4 Pro is there a Feature Size Alignment?

    Hi

Is it possible to align files based on size (ignoring the file names)?

    I would then upgrade immediately

    Thank you in advance

Sorry, Beyond Compare doesn't provide a way to align based on size while ignoring file names. This is on our feature wish list for a future version.

Beyond Compare 3 and 4 Pro allow you to align files with fixed name changes.

    Examples:
file1.pdf on the left, file1.doc on the right.
file1.txt on the left prefix_file1.txt on the right.

To align a single file or folder, right click on it and select "Align With", then left click on a file or folder on the right side.

To align multiple files or folders, click the Rules toolbar button.
    Go to the Misc tab.
In the Alignment Overrides section, click + or New.
Enter masks for alignment, such as *.pdf on the left and *.doc on the right.

Beyond Compare doesn't provide a way to align files with different names if the name change is random.
