  • Hex Compare: very minor bug in editing the search word

I open two binary files and I press ctrl+f to search for a word. It shows the last word that I searched for. For example, "flash". I want to search for another word. So, I click after the word flash and the cursor is put at the end. I press backspace, and I remove the last letter 'h', but also the cursor goes left one position. So, I get "fla_s", where with '_' I mean the cursor. Instead, it should give me "flas_". As I said, a minor problem. I do not know if there are some other similar issues in editing and/or in editing in other situations.

    Thank You and regards

Thanks for the report. We have a developer looking into this one, and it should be fixed in the next beta release.
