non-focus pane shaded -- distracting

I just tried BC3 after being a long-time user of BC2. In file comparison, I really dislike the fact that the pane that doesn't have the focus is darkened or shaded compared to the other one. I find this distracting and that it makes visual comparison of the files harder.

How can I disable this behavior? If I can't that alone would make me stay with BC2.

Hi John,

You can adjust this in the Options dialog, on the "File Views"/"Display" tab. The option is "Dim inactive pane by".
