    Seperate Alignment and Content comparison

    Hi,

I am presently using BC 3 and comparing two MS WORD documents.
While comparing, BC throws up as an important error for words that are not aligned to the original document (i.e. in the same line) along with the content differences.

I would like to differentiate between the two. While I would still classify content difference s as IMPORTANT, the alignment differences, I would like to classify as unimportant. Is this possible?

    Thanks

    Hello,

If there are line breaks in the converted files breaking lines differently, text on different lines will always be considered an important difference. The fix would be to use an alternate conversion scheme that does not insert the line breaks, or if the new line breaks are in the original file reformatting it to not break them apart.

Comparing across line breaks is on our wishlist, but not something we currently support.
